I woke up feel crappy again, so I decided to take it easy all day, reading and relaxing in our apartment, while J. et al went to the Rodin Museum and did some shopping.

That evening we went to dinner at La Petit Chaise, a nice walk on the other side of the Gardens. This is a typically Parisian place — very crowded, tables almost touching — with excellent food. I had a duo of fish (salmon and cod) with a perfect sauce and spring vegetables. J. had beef and the onion soup. Our friends dined well on the crab & avocado salad, goat cheese salad, a pork loin that was exquisitely tender, and the breast of duck in a fruit reduction. Amazingly wonderful with excellent service. (Our meal was 128 eu, and included 2 bottles of wine, three aperitifs, a bottle of wine, and two cafes.)

After a lovely wake back in the warm evening, we all agreed this was the perfect end to our trip to Paris.
