As an American, it is impossibe to fathom what it must have been like living there. And there seemed to have been so many factions it was hard to keep it straight. What a horrible time in the UK’s history. There have been many but I love the UK from where my ancestors hail (or Hale😁). Have a wonderful trip. I look forward to reading more of your stories. Anna
