Highs are still cracking the 30s (90s, take your pick) but the evenings are cooling off a bit more so we can reset the apartment at night by flinging the windows open. Also, I have to admit, we broke down and bought a portable air conditioner for the back of our place (bedroom, shifting to an office if needed…)

I didn’t realize that Seattle in particular had been hit, but the news seemed to indicate that the entire Northern Hemisphere was getting it to one degree (har har) or another. Hope y’all made it through ok!
